Bangsar South's Charity Raya

I was part of the organising committee for a charity event at Bangsar South. We held a Raya open house and some games for a group of teens from an orphanage and a hundred old folks with the Social Welfare dept.

It was a pretty cool event and we had balloons arranged like the Bangsar South logo for the opening ceremony.

I was in charge of preparing the scissors and coordinating the flow & events. Look what I've done!

Scissors for the opening ceremony in the Logo's colour too!

Enjoyed it even though I wasn't feeling well. Was running around, and thank goodness, the weather was pretty good - not too sunny yet it was clear and a lil windy. Lovely.

Party

Last weekend, I went to my colleague's raya open house with a few others. I brought my Portfolio Mgt textbook along to "study" or so it will make me feel better even if I only read like three sentences.

Had a mini party @ YC's place - Saturday evening. We had a parade of food from around the globe - Malaysian / Chinese, Italian, Japanese, Greek, American, Taiwanese, etc. And they are all delicious. Especially like the mushroom!

And two bottles of sparkling wine / juice to compliment the meal.

At work, I have this cute gift from one of the agencies for Mid Autumn's Festival. It's those cardboard paper where u can fold them into shapes like this and put them together! Goodness, when I received it, I feel like a kid again. My colleague WF enthusiastically put the puzzle together...

ta-da ..

The Eyelash curler tragedy

My sister found it lying on the road beside where she always park her car:

:(
RIP my eyelash curler...

This is what booboo got me from her Jap trip!

Kawai chocolate mushroom..

Food and stuffs...

Here are just some random updates on what's happening right now in my life. (All pictures are taken with my non-camera phone's phone camera...so quality isn't that good). And there isn't going to be a lot of words, I'm too lazy!

I had McDonalds delivery at my workplace one day - I ordered filet o fish...and guess what? When I opened the box, there it is, smiling at me. Really, a smiley on my burger. It made my day.

Had Snow Beer here:

Because...

I've been super lazy. Since CNY, I haven't really stayed one whole day at the shop, except for Tuesday when she's off. I started sleeping in late too - waking up at about 11am everyday. Slept late...think too much. Yes, in thinking department, I've been extremely hardworking. Thinking how to improvise mc², physically and in many other ways. So perhaps one of the most interesting job I've done was decorating these few last mandarin oranges in store.

Money-eyed mandarin orange.

Crazy Eyes.

A customer said it's so cute - looks like Spongebob!

Nobody was willing to eat away such cute creatures...

Few days back, I made mocha sponge cake with leftover spongefingers. A bit like tiramisu, minus the mascarpone, minus rum/Bacardi/any of that sort.
I may not look as nice as it taste, but it's really tasty!
