Tiramisu

I'm in love with Tiramisu. Totally dig it.

Ai-Lynn said I will be trying out Tiramisu everywhere and write a book of review on "Tiramisu around the world".

Brunetti. This was so-so.

That day itself, we also went to Greco. While waiting for JJJ who took hours to arrive, we had 2 cakes. One of them, definitely tiramisu.

Greco. Absolutely enticing. Absolutely scrumptious.

Their strawberry cheesecake tastes like heaven. I'm so in love with it.

Sydney, I tried a lot of Jap food. I wanted to stay off chocs for a while.

In Brissie, I carried on my tiramisu hype.
Since Yi San, Yin San, and Gordon were so kind to welcome me to stay with them for almost 2 long weeks, I decided to make them the only cake I know how to, and love to.
I made brownies, it was tasty! So few days after, I bought mascarpone and spongefingers, rum and baileys.
Got a very good recipe for tiramisu from http://home.comcast.net/~jankemi/recipe/tiramisu.html.
But although the recipe insisted on espresso, I simply refuse to pay attention to the significance of it for now. Well, maybe next time. I replaced it with 3 packets of 3in1 white coffee and Nescafe.
By Nicole. Heavenly.

Marmalade, Bangsar Village II

I think they're famous for their salads (but I did not try the salads).
I'm too lazy to type a whole bunch of words so here is it. A picture says (is worth) a thousand words. I have 6 of them, so here, a six thousand words entry :)

Teriyaki chicken with spinach rice.

Healthy fruitie Milkshake
Dad had a Heartie Breakie brunch set which comes along with a cup of coffee/tea and a juice. I was so into my own meal when it came that I forgot to take the picture of his food.

This is it...my Spaghetti Funghi.

It was a very healthy and filling brunch :)

Food Foundry + mamak

A day ago, JJ suggested dinner at Food Foundry.

So there we were, at Section 17.
Kar Mei forgotten about me...she didn't count me in for seats. Others were SURPRISED to see me. After flipping through the menu a few times, I finally settled for Aglio Olio. Leang Chung joined as well cos he stays right above where we're dining.

Wen was so hungry but her food came last (and quite long later cos her order wasn't taken). DS, JJ and Ivan T had 2 main courses.

Then, after eating everyone started discussing about the BBQ party at JJ's place following our graduation ceremony. We wrote down the guest list and food list on a piece of tissue... and passed it around. JJ said there's this closet in his room which is out of bound. It's like telling people *hint *- go invade it :P

Next, Ivan delivered a show-and-tell on some incidents that happened not so long ago. We got it on a video! (but I'm not gonna put it up)

They had to chuck us our bill to pay up because we sat there so long. It was already closing time. They placed it in a basket; so such cute JJ's way of paying the bill we had to all write down the amount we ate on a piece of tissue again, and then put the money in the basket. Ended up, everyone still have to chip in 50 cents.

Food there is OK, I find the Salmon slightly too salty. Otherwise, not bad ;)

We went to have supper nearby, and wanted to look for LC's parents' tong sui stall.
(On the way there, DS and YT bought FOOD to eat.)
Unfortunately they were already closing and thus we had ice blended fruit juices at a mamak instead.
(On the way to mamak, Ivan also ended up eating).
I had roti tisu. Yum.

Sam joined us after his networking/socializing party ended. Apparently he had chosen getting to know girls over us. Sigh. But when we asked him how many numbers did he get, he got none.

YT was gonna doze off already, signifying it's time to go home.
